Landscape and Bridge --
The Virginia landscape is lush and green. The hills are gently rolling. The trees were just beginning to turn. There were fabulous vistas everywhere that just begged to be photographed. I only wish I knew more about photography.
Then there are lots of natural rivers and streams, all of which need to be accomodated in some form. As was evident on our trip, the streams were prone to overflow and the water runoff was fast and furious which also needs to be directed.
